Overview
AMU Campus Hub is a centralized student platform for Aligarh Muslim University — built to replace the fragmented, outdated channels students rely on for campus information. Events, notices, academic resources, and campus services, all in one place.

AMU Campus Hub — Core Application View
Role
I designed and built the entire platform — from database schema in Supabase to the React frontend. I owned every decision from the information architecture to the deployment pipeline. No agencies, no handoffs.
Problem
Students at AMU had no reliable single destination for campus life. Information lived scattered across WhatsApp groups, unofficial Facebook pages, and notice boards that were physically inaccessible to most. Critical notices were missed. Events went unattended. The gap between students and institutional communication was wide.
Desktop experience
Solution
A clean, fast web app built on Next.js with a Supabase backend. Students can browse events, read official notices, access academic resources, and explore campus services — all with real-time updates. The design prioritized mobile-first usage since most students access it on their phones.
Result
The platform is actively in use by students at AMU. It reduced the reliance on scattered informal channels and gave students a single trusted source for campus information. The project is open-source and continuously improving.
